The photographs taken on a 2012 trip along coast of Normandy and Brittany seem like snapshots of the coastal landscape, often showing ironic details. The sea and the sky dominate the pictures. In these surroundings man has to subordinate to the elements. The photographer is fascinated by the people of the coast in all their simplicity and serenity. He comes close, yet remains an outside observer.
