Months before his solo exhibition at the Berliner Kunsthalle (former Deutsche Guggenheim) Newprint has the privilege to present a number of photographs by Nicolas Balcazar! Aircraft & Lux Aeterna is a show that intensively contrasts two groups of pictures. The images could not be more different. On the one hand there are brightly coloured, surreal light-objects in real surroundings, fragile with something of a spiritual aura – on the other hand we have technical black and white images of aircraft, seemingly petrified in a pale blank sky.

Balcazars works can be found, inter alia, in the Deutsche Bank Collection (one of the most significant private art collections worldwide).
